When Varun Dhawan was roasted by father David Dhawan on Main Tera Hero sets: 'Time nhi hai aise fuski hero ke liye'

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan will be the first accused to take up bizarre allegations against him on the upcoming courtroom comedy celebrity show, Case Toh Banta Hai . While ‘Janta ka Lawyer’aka Riteish Deshmukh has registered a case on the basis of some hilarious accusations imposed on him by fans. Bollywood ka Insaaf Specialist Varun Sharma will defend him by presenting his side of the story. During the episode, VD was asked if he was ever scolded by his filmmaker father David Dhawan . He then recalled an anecdote from his 2014 film Main Tera Hero during the shooting of which he was called ‘fuski hero’ by his father.
The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor remembered doing a scene on a bike. While making a turn he fell down and his hand got badly bruised. His father, who was on the mic in front of everyone, roasted him saying, “Arey arey arey, nazuk bachche ko lag gyi. Bahut hi nazuk film se aaya hai na...inko samajhao yar hamare pass time nhi hai aise fuski hero ke liye." Varun then got upset and went to his vanity. After which his brother Rohit came to him laughing and Varun opened up saying that he wants to be taken seriously. In reply, his brother said that he is being directed by his father not his mother, ‘tough love’.

Recently, Varun dropped a promo video of the show on his Instagram handle wherein he is seen imitating his JugJugg Jeeyo co-star Anil Kapoor. Sharing the video, he wrote: "Why me? Mein innocent hoon ! Had a blast shooting this with @fukravarun @riteishd and @kushakapila @sajid_samji Watch #CaseTohBantaHai this Friday only on @amazonminitv." Meanwhile, in terms of work, Varun is currently shooting for his upcoming Bawaal co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandsons, the film is slated to hit theatres in 2023.
