When Varun Dhawan unknowingly promoted Jugjugg Jeeyo's The Punjaabban song with Alia Bhatt in 2014

Back in 2014, Varun Dhawan had unknowingly come up with the hook step of The Punjaabban song from his latest release Jugjugg Jeeyo. He performed the step with Alia Bhatt and his fans while promoting Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania . The actor re-shared the picture of the same posted on his fan page on Instagram.

Sharing the snapshot on his IG stories, the Kalank actor tagged his Jugjugg Jeeyo co-stars Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor , director Raj A Mehta and choreographer Bosco Martis. He captioned it as, “I knew it, my step”. In the picture, Alia can be seen wearing a pink top as he pouts while doing the step. Varun, on the other hand, can be seen in a black jacket which he wore over a black T-shirt. Have a look:

For the uninitiated, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a romantic comedy starring Varun and Alia in the lead role. While late actor Siddharth Shukla made his Bollywood debut with the film. Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar , the film turned out to be a box office success. JugJugg Jeeyo is the 2022 released family drama starring Varun, Kiara, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor in prominent roles. Directed by Raj, the film crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Currently, Varun is busy shooting for Nitesh Tiwari ’s Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor . In his latest Instagram post, he also shared that the team is heading for Warsaw, Poland, for the commencement of the next schedule. In the video shared on his IG stories, Varun hops onto the train, he can be seen bowing down to an old couple and can be seen shaking hands with a fan. Meanwhile, the film marks the first collaboration of Varun with Janhvi. Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, it is scheduled to hit screens on April 7, 2023.
