Was Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan intentionally framed? Here's what NCB vigilance probe hints

Last year, Shah Rukh Khan ’s son Aryan Khan along with 19 others, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) in the Cordelia cruise ship drug bust case. The news came as a big shock as the superstar’s son spent almost a month behind bars before getting bail in the high-profile case. Due to a lack of evidence, NCB gave a clean chit to Aryan Khan and five others in May this year. The latest development suggests that the star kid was deliberately targeted as the vigilance department of NCB found evidence of irregularities and 'selective treatment’ in the case.

Reportedly, the vigilance committee has submitted a 3000-page charge sheet against the seven-eight officers for irregularities in the Aryan case and two-three other cases too in August. Some of the officers of NCB were deputed to it while a few are no longer with the bureau. The probe was led by the former zonal head of the bureau Sameer Wankhede in October last year. At that time it was also alleged that Wankhede’s team was making attempts to extort money from Aryan Khan. Later, the special investigation team (SIT) under NCB re-investigated the entire case and found that the Mumbai NCB team’s action had many irregularities, indicating that were trying to “implicate” Aryan in the case.

The vigilance committee has reportedly recorded the statements of at least 65 witnesses, went through case papers, and witness statements, and evaluated the evidence in the cases to specify several irregularities. As of now, it is not revealed whether the extortion aspect was found in the inquiry. Meanwhile, the report has been submitted to the higher authority for them to take further action.

On the professional front, Aryan Khan is gearing up for his Bollywood debut as a writer. He Aryan has decided to mark his entry into the world of cinema as a web series writer. The details of Aryan’s web series are still under wraps but the latest update on the project is that it has finally reached the casting stage.
