Vikram Gokhale's family rubbishes rumors of his death, reveals actor is currently on ventilator

Since yesterday (November 23) the news of veteran Hindi and Marathi actor Vikram Gokhale ’s deteriorating health had gripped social media until late at night, it was reported everywhere that he had passed away. However, now it has been revealed that the actor is very much alive though still in a critical condition. The same was revealed by his family.

Talking about the same, the publication ANI on their official Twitter handle quoted Vikram Gokhale’s daughter, who confirmed that the actor is still alive and on life support. The quote states, “Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale is still critical and on life support. He has not passed away yet. Keep praying for him–confirms Vikram Gokhale's daughter.”

Vikram Gokhale’s wife Vrushali Gokhale also revealed the same to Etimes. The Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor’s wife said, “He slipped into a coma yesterday afternoon, and post that, he has not responded to touch. He is on a ventilator. Doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do, depending on whether he's improving, sinking, or still not responding.” Apart from that, she also said that her husband has been admitted to the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital since November 5, earlier this month.

Vrushali Gokhale further added, “He improved a bit but slipped again. He has had a host of issues, like in the heart and kidneys. At the moment, he has had a multi-organ failure.” It was earlier reported that Vikram Gokhale was battling many health complications that worried his fans and colleagues. Actor Ajay Devgn already tweeted his condolences for the actor on his social media handle.

Ajay Devgn yesterday stated, “Vikram Gokhale Sir brought a lot of gravitas to the roles he essayed. He always stood tall. I had the good fortune of sharing screen time with him. His passing away is very sad. I pray his soul finds eternal peace. RIP Vikram Sir. Condolences to his family.” We wish a speedy recovery for the actor.
