The anticipation surrounding the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s highly awaited sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All Time knows no bounds, as fans continue to celebrate the film ahead of its grand release. Meanwhile, directors Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee shared a special post extending their warm wishes for their Vijay ‘anna’ before The GOAT's theatrical debut.

Lokesh Kanagaraj took to his social media page to share a picture of himself with director Atlee and wrote, “Wishing you the absolute best for #TheGOAT @actorvijay na. Wishing @vp_offl, @Ags_production, @archanakalpathi and the entire cast and crew for the movie to be a raging success. From your boys @Dir_Lokesh & @Atlee_dir (sic).”
Lokesh and Atlee, who seem to be traveling together for work, are eagerly awaiting the chance to watch their favorite star’s exciting performance on screen soon.

For the unversed, Atlee has worked with Thalapathy Vijay in multiple blockbusters, including Theri (2016), Mersal (2017) and Bigil (2019). Lokesh Kanagaraj, on the other hand, directed Vijay’s 2021 action film Master before bringing him aboard into his LCU franchise (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) with the 2023 blockbuster Leo.
While fans would love to see the director duo collaborate with Vijay once again, that possible collaboration may not happen, as Vijay is reportedly planning to bid farewell to cinema after completing his 69th film with director H. Vinoth, to pursue his political career. However, fans can still hope for a joint venture from the director duo in the future!

Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, The Greatest of All Time stars Vijay, Mic Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, and Ajmal Ameer.
The film centers on Gandhi and his special anti-terrorist squad as they work to resolve issues caused by a previous operation. The story also explores cloning technology, which is expected to become widespread by 2050.
The Greatest of All Time is slated for release on September 5, 2024.
