    Thalapathy Vijay’s Master co-star and Makkal Selvan, Vijay Sethupathi, recently took to social media to extend his wishes to the Tamil star on his debut political rally in Villupuram. He wrote (translated), “Best wishes to TVK leader Vijay Sir and the volunteers for the success of the first state conference of the TVK party. #TVK_maanadu.”

    Rising star Sivakarthikeyan shared his warm regards to Thalapathy Vijay in a heartfelt note. The actor extended his best wishes and wrote, “My heartfelt wishes to Vijay sir, who is about to start his new journey today @tvkvijayhq.”

    For those unaware, Thalapathy Vijay is preparing for a major rally in Vikravandi, a town in Villupuram. This political gathering follows eight months after he launched his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). While the party has yet to contest any elections, it is already drawing considerable public attention as it sets its sights on the 2026 Assembly elections.

    The actor also announced that the upcoming film Thalapathy 69, directed by H. Vinoth, will be his last in his career, after which he will bid goodbye to Tamil cinema to pursue his political career.
