Country’s heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda graced the couch of Karan Johar ’s chat show Koffee With Karan 7 along with his Liger co-star Ananya Panday in episode 4, which premiered last night. Right at the beginning, KJo made a big revelation. He shared that Ananya has tried to hit on Vijay many times but she hasn’t been met with any reciprocation. The South superstar was shocked because he felt the actress did not do a clear enough job. Well, their chemistry was super cute!
When Ananya remembered the time they went out for dinner, Karan asked if it was a date. Much to the actress’ delight, Vijay admitted that it was in fact a ‘date’. He shared, “Kind of yeah, you looked pretty, I dressed up.” Viewers did not have enough time to gush over this because pat came KJo’s question for Ananya, “You went on a date with Vijay while you were dating Ishaan (Khatter)?” The beauty clarified that it was a ‘friendly date’. Later Ananya made it clear that she’s single.

She just kept repeating that at the moment she is single. Rumors did suggest that Ananya was dating her Khaali Peeli co-star Ishaan for three long years but the couple never talked about it. Well, KJo has now confirmed it and has also verified the news about their break up.
For the uninitiated, Ananya and Ishaan reportedly fell in love while shooting for their 2020 film. They have now parted ways on a positive note and continue to be cordial to one another.
