Vijay Deverakonda has finally found his shoe rack ladies and gentlemen: 'Slipper drama khatam'

Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his debut in Hindi cinema this month and spending a lot of time promoting his upcoming film Liger in Mumbai. The actor has in the news for the past few weeks for going around town pairing Rs. 199 chappals with his outfits during promotions and has been hailed as ‘down to earth’ for it. However, this time around he seems to have turned heads by finally having found a pair of shoes and don’t think that the internet hasn’t noticed.

Spotted at the airport, Vijay was clicked arriving dressed casually in a black tee, denims and believe it or not, shoes instead of chappals. As the video was shared a popular paparazzo on social media, the netizens were quick to notice the difference.

Seen posing for the cameras in the video, followers wrote for Vijay in the comments -

Vijay’s chappals that made headlines, according to an interview given by his stylist, were specifically asked for by the actor to wear during promotions. He sported the pair of slippers all over Mumbai from trailer launch of Liger to the interviews.

The move certainly got the Arjun Reddy star the attention he was hoping for as the internet was buzzing seeing him ditch fancy shoes to look stylish. Vijay will be seen playing a boxer in Liger which also stars Ramya Krishna, Ananya Panday and Mike Tyson.

The movie backed by Karan Johar and directed by Puri Jagannadh will release in cinemas on August 25 this month.
