A video surfaced on a paparazzo account shows Vidya wearing a black-red floral saree while her husband is seen in a black formal suit. Reacting to the video, one of the netizens expressed displeasure over Siddharth's behaviour saying, “Husband seems to be in some other world, not even bothered bhai thoda sa tou concern dikha de , apni hi he woh.” Another commented, “Husband dint even care to look what just has happened. He just pretended to be cool. So much care.” “Her husband could've covered her from cameras to fix her saree.” Some also slammed the man who went without apologizing to the actress. Vidya came to become part of Guneet’s pre-wedding celebration which was a star-studded affair. Besides her, celebrities like Sanya Malhotra, Neha Dhupia, Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre, Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, and Tahira Kashyap among others were in attendance. Guneet is set to tie the knot with Sunny Kapoor as per Sikh rituals on December 12. The producer is known for her projects like Pagglait, Masaan, and Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and Part 2 among others.
Meanwhile, workwise, Vidya was last seen in a thriller film Jalsa directed by Suresh Triveni. The film also stars Shefali Shah.
