Only yesterday, we had reported about the vintage styled teaser of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The said teaser had revealed that the much-awaited trailer of the film will be released today. And the makers have now kept their promise and have dropped the super exciting trailer of the film.

As for the trailer, the one word that rightly describes it is ‘spectacular’. The trailer starts off with Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and Vidya (Triptii Dimri) deciding to make a video of their ‘suhaag raat’ and convert that into a CD (Compact Disc), with the reason that they can relive those moments again and again!

But, the next day, both Vicky and Vidya get an utter shock of their lives when they realize that the CD player (which contained the CD) has gone missing. What follows after that are their seamless efforts by Vicky and Vidya in an attempt to find their CD. It is during the process of finding the CD, the kind of rip-roaring adventures that the duo encounter is what forms the rest of the trailer.

The said trailer, which is laced with one liner galore, is bound to make you laugh at every scene! With the lovely and lively trailer just seeming like a tip of the iceberg, one is reminded of the famous line, ‘Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost’!

As for the performances, both, Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri come out and emerge as the undisputed stars of the trailer. Seeing Mallika Sherawat’s comeback is definitely a welcome change. The veteran actors Vijay Raaz and Tiku Talsania are at their usual selves. Ditto for the rest of the actors!

In no time of the film’s trailer being released, there were many netizens who just could not stop raving about it. One user wrote, ‘This is exactly what I was looking for from a Rajkummar Rao film. As for the film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, it stars an ensemble cast of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri as the leading pair along with Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, Mast Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Tiku Talsania and Ashwini Kalsekar in all important roles.

While the film has been written and directed By Raaj Shaandilyaa, it has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shaandilyaa and Vimal Lahoti. The film is now all set to be released in theatres on October 11, 2024.
