Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Teaser OUT: Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri introduce each other in Stree and Animal style; fans are impressed

After a long wait, the makers of Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video have finally released the wonderful teaser of the most awaited film of the year! The teaser, in itself, is nothing less than a gem, to say the least!

The video teaser of the film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starts off with the film’s leading pair Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the form of newsreaders from the olden golden era… much before the digitisation had engulfed the television with its satellite beaming!

The teaser of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starts off with both Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri introducing each other with their respective claim to fame. The teaser starts off with ‘Bombay Samachar’ which has both Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri bringing the ‘breaking news’… or better still… ‘is waqt ki sabse badi khabar’ (as he describes it!).

In a typical vintage newsreader’s accent and style, Rajkummar Rao tells that the latest update (of that time) is from the ‘Mayanagri Bombay’ wherein the well-known film producer Bhushan Kumar aka ‘the maalik of T-Series’ brings to you ‘sau pratikshat nabbey ka cinema’, whose title is Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

And just as Rajkummar Rao is about to reveal the name of the person who plays the main role in the film, Triptii chips in saying, ‘Woh purush jo stree main hai… Rajkummar Rao’! And thereafter Rajkummar Rao takes over saying, ‘Aur woh Stree jisko dekh ke lagta hai ki pehle bhi main isne mila hu, Triptii Dimri’ .

After introducing each other in an extremely unique and funny way, they then introduce Raj Shandilya as the film’s director, the very person who makes the guys of his films disguise as ladies and ‘ghumaate rehte hain’! Towards the end, they term their film as ‘97% paarivarik and 3% mahaa paarivarik film’! The inimitable duo of Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri then, reveal that the trailer of the film will be dropped on September 12.

Rajkummar Rao, on his part, shared the teaser on social media and captioned it as, ‘1997 ke mukhya samachar... dekho sabke saath… padosi ho ya Pariwar... #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo Teaser out now! In cinemas on 11th October.

In no time, the netizens started pouring out their love for the teaser in the comments section. While one wrote, ‘This is the best teaser I have ever seen in a long time. Rajkummar Rao is the next SRK’, another user wrote, ‘OMG! Just look at the way the film’s makers have presented the two darlings of Bollywood Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Just simply awesome’! The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 11, 2024.
