    The Archies actor Vedang Raina is all set to feature next alongside actress Alia Bhatt in Vasan Bala’s Jigra. The makers of the film recently released Jigra teaser which had the song, ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’, sung by Vedang himself, playing in the background. Reflecting on his musical journey, the actor posted a video of himself singing over the years and also wrote a gratitude post for the team of Jigra.

    Sharing a video featuring clips from his life, Vedang showcased his musical journey over the years on social media. The video begins with young Vedang singing while playing a guitar. The next clip is of teenage Vedang singing alongside a female musician. The next video is of Vedang singing a song on stage, while the fourth clip features the actor singing ‘Phir Le Aaya Dil’ from the film Barfi.

    The video also features clips of Vedang singing, recording and practicing the new rendition of the song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’ which has been used in the teaser of Jigra.

    Expressing his gratitude to the team for giving him the opportunity to sing one of the iconic songs of Bollywood for Jigra, Vedang wrote, “I know the younger me was dreaming of this. Thank you @vasanbala for telling me to carry my guitar and come to the studio (I had no idea what it was for). Thank you @achintstagram for letting me sing your compositions (there’s more to come). Thank you @karanjohar @aliaabhatt and everyone who’s ever taken a chance on me. Still hard to believe that I got an opportunity to sing a rendition of one of the most iconic songs in Hindi cinema for a @dharmamovies film.”

    He concluded the post with, “Blessed. Grateful. Thank you for all the love for Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka and the Jigra teaser trailer. Jigra in cinemas on 11th October.”

    Reactions to Vedang Raina's post

    Reacting to the video, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor commented with a red heart and sparkle emoji, while the official handle of Dharma Productions wrote, “@vedangraina out here making everyone catch feelings with those vocals!”

    Vedang made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The actor is also a musician and has a YouTube channel where he posts his singing videos. The actor will be seen next in Jigra, alongside actress Alia Bhatt. Jigra will release in theatres on October 11.
