Varun Dhawan's elder brother Rohit welcomes second child with his wife Jaanvi

Actor Varun Dhawan ’s elder brother and director Rohit Dhawan has become a father for the second time. His wife Jaanvi has given birth to a lovely son. In a video shared on Instagram, Rohit was spotted outside the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai with his father and filmmaker David Dhawan.

The video shows Rohit in a blue casual shirt as he comes out of the hospital with his dad. Later, the paparazzi can be heard saying, ‘Congratulations’ to the duo as they left in the car. Take a look:

Rohit and Jaanvi tied the knot in the year 2012 in Goa after dating for seven years. Several Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor , Rishi Kapoor , Sonam Kapoor, and Govinda , among others, were in attendance. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Niyara, in 2018. Her pictures are often shared by her uncle Varun on his Instagram handle. Now, after four years the two have again become parents of a son.

Earlier in March, Varun’s wife Natasha Dalal had organised a baby shower for Jaanvi. The pictures were shared by Arjun Kapoor 's sister Anshula Kapoor , who also attended the function. In the pictures, Jaanvi could be seen in a printed floral dress as she posed with her friends. "Only love @jaanvidhawan. @natashadalal88 & @priyalimahtani, y’all are rockstars & the best hosts! Thank you for the most fun 24 hours!!" Anshula captioned the post.

To note, Rohit made his directorial debut with ' Desi Boyz ' in 2011. The film featured Akshay Kumar , John Abraham, Deepika Padukone , and Chitrangada Singh. Dishoom was his second film which was released in 2016. It starred his younger brother Varun Dhawan alongside John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. He is currently working on his next film Shehzada , which features Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The film is set to release on November 4.

Meanwhile, Varun is currently shooting for Nitesh Tiwari ’s Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor . His upcoming projects include Raj Mehta's Jug Jugg Jeeyo co-starring Kiara Advani , Anil Kapoor , and Neetu Kapoor. It is slated to release on June 24 this year. Besides it, he is also a part of Amar Kaushik's Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon, and a Rajkumar Hirani -produced film.
