Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal name their daughter Lara; Citadel: Honey Bunny actor reveals it on Amitabh Bachchan's KBC 16

Varun Dhawan, who is awaiting the release of his series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, welcomed his first child with his wife Natasha Dalal recently. The new parents in town haven't yet shared the picture of their daughter. Varun Dhawan reveals his daughter’s name

During his recent appearance on the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, when the actor was asked about his daughter’s name, Varun revealed that the couple has named their daughter Lara, which means grace and protection.

Varun appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 with the creators of his upcoming web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, Raj & DK.

For those unaware, Varun and his wife Natasha welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lara on June 4, 2024. The couple took to Instagram to share the news of their baby girl’s arrival and shared a poster announcing the same. They captioned the post, “Our baby girl is here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby. (Hare Ram Hare Ram, Ram Ram Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare).”

During the episode, Varun also spoke about connecting with his baby girl. He told Big B, "I’m still learning to connect with her; it’s just as you said when a baby comes home, everything changes." When Varun quizzed the megastar about parental duties keeping him up at night, Amitabh responded, "Oh, we managed to sleep, but there was always a bit of worry: is everything okay? Back then, a new gadget had come out. You’d place it near the bed, and if the baby made even the slightest noise, it would alert us. It came in handy.”

After dating for quite some time, Varun and Natasha tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Alibaug in January 2021. The wedding was a close-knit affair, attended by close friends and family.

On the work front, Varun will feature next alongside actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in action-adventure web series Citadel: Honey Bunny. The web series will make its world premiere on Netflix on November 7. The actor also has Kalees-directed Baby John which is a remake of Atlee's Tamil film Theri.
