Bipasha Basu was recently spotted by the paparazzi who were quick to quip her about her daughter Devi’s health. For the unversed, in a heart-wrenching interview with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha revealed that Devi was born with two holes in her heart for which she had to undergo open heart surgery. The actress and her husband Karan Singh Grover also celebrated their daughter turning 9 months last month.

Talking about the same, Bipasha Basu was seen looking lovely in a full-sleeved knee-length light green dress with cream-colored heels and sunglasses. While speaking to the paparazzi, the Bachna Ae Haseeno actress said, “Devi is fine, Woh Theek Hain. She is perfect.” However, when one of the shutterbugs enquired about Devi’s health on her 9-month celebration, the actress said, “Uss Din Usko Na, Car Main Dhoodh Pilaya Tha Toh Ulti Ho Gaya.” Well, going by her statement except for the toddler vomiting due to milk consumption on the occasion, it seemed that she is doing hale and hearty right now.

In the earlier live chat with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu said, “I got to know on the third day of me having a baby that our baby is born with two holes in her heart. I thought I'll not share this, but I'm sharing this because I feel that there are a lot of mothers, who helped me in this journey, and it was very difficult to find those mothers.” The Omkara actress had broken down to tears while talking about her tumultuous situation as a mother. She had further added that they wanted to celebrate Devi’s birth but the first five months have been difficult for them. They were told by the doctors that with that kind of large hole, surgery is the option if it doesn’t heal on its own. The actress received a lot of love and support from her fans especially fellow mothers.
