Earlier today, fresh developments came up in the ongoing Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar . It was revealed that not only Jacqueline Fernandez , but actresses Nikki Tamboli and Chahatt Khanna also received extravagant gifts from the conman while he was still in jail. Now, Urfi Javed took to her social media handle to take a dig at Chahatt after her name in the case popped up. The two have infamously been at loggerheads ever since Chahatt had criticized Urfi’s sartorial choices and had accused her of allegedly paying the paparazzi to photograph her.
Talking about the same, Urfi Javed took to her Instagram stories to share a news article speaking about Chahatt Khanna’s involvement in the extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The former Bigg Boss OTT contestant then captioned the same stating, “But I am the obnoxious one for dressing up indecently and paying the media.” The caption was in reference to the Bade Ache Lagte Hain actress’ earlier jibe towards her clothing and behavior with the shutterbugs. Take a look at the same.
According to the latest development in the extortion case, it has been revealed by a charge sheet by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chahatt Khanna was amongst the other actresses who had met Sukesh Chandrashekhar back in the year 2018 while he was in jail. The Qubool Hai actress had met the conman through his associate Pinky Irani who is now arrested. Chahatt had received cash of a whopping Rs 2 lakh along with a blue Versace watch.
Talking about the fiasco between Chahatt Khanna and Urfi Javed, Khanna had taken to her social media account to lash out at Urfi’s dressing sense. She had stated, “Who wears this? And on streets? I mean anyone would remove their clothes and media makes them a celebrity? Is Indian media so vulnerable? Its easy to buy this cheap publicity and media, this cheap show you'll are promoting to our generation. Anyone would pay for spotting and do anything or even go nude and you'll will carry? This is obnoxiously sad!! God bless you with some wisdom."
