Bollywood’s action hero Tiger Shroff is being asked to reconsider his acting fees as his star value has dropped considerably. The actor was last featured in Heropanti 2 alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria which delivered disastrous box office numbers. Now, the producers of his upcoming films— Ganapath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , and Screw Dheela, have asked the actor to reduce his remuneration.
According to Bollywood Hungama reports, Tiger charged Rs 35 crore for Ganapath, an action thriller that is directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. For Karan Johar’s Screw Dheela, he took Rs 35 crore, and for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, he came on board for Rs 45 crores. The latest report by the news portal suggests that producers want the actor to slash his fees by 50 percent and bring it down to the range of Rs 17 to 20 crores. And the actor has now reduced his fees to Rs 25 crores for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan as per a trade source.
Also, there are reports that the actor has not been offered any more films because of his high fees. However, the trade sources also believed that it is a short-term revision of his salary as after one hit he will roar again. “It's just a matter of time before the industry realizes that 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. This is a lull phase for not just Tiger, but the entire industry. Everything will be back to normal once the films start working," the source added.
Meanwhile, Tiger will soon begin shooting for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which will feature him with Akshay Kumar for the first time. Apart from it, the actor is awaiting the release of his next Ganapath in which he reunites with his Heropnati co-star Kriti Sanon. And Karan Johar’s Screw Dheela will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan. The film has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead. As per reports, the film’s shoot has been delayed due to some date issues.
