Thug Life: Kamal Haasan begins dubbing for Mani Ratnam film, here are the major updates

The new series 'Voices of Thugs' will showcase the dubbing sessions of the ‘Thugs’ or stars who are essaying pivotal roles in Kamal Haasan-starrer Thug Life.

Makers of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s dream project, Thug Life, seem to have swiftly begun the post-production work and have been teasing the audience with exciting updates. After Silambarasan, the team has now announced that the leading man, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, has begun dubbing for his portions of the movie. 

 Sharing the latest update, the makers wrote, “When #Ulaganayagan voices it, the World listens! #ThugsDubbingBegins #VoiceofThugs.” The newly shared video features mastermind Mani Ratnam along with Kamal Haasan at the dubbing studio where the post-production work is taking place. 

Although the film is yet to wrap up filming with a few more schedules remaining, the makers have decided to begin post-production work simultaneously. The new series 'Voices of Thugs' will showcase the dubbing sessions of the ‘Thugs’ or stars who are essaying pivotal roles in the movie.

Producer drops major update on Thug Life schedule

  Earlier, writer Siva Anant, who is also one of the producers for Thug Life, shared an interesting update on the filming schedules. The shoot of Thug Life began in January this year and the film is currently in the production stage. Siva revealed in an interview that they have not set any date for the completion of the shoot, but they are totally dedicated to delivering a top-notch experience. “We are right in the middle of the shoot. We don't know the exact date of the shoot wrap-up, but we are enjoying this phase. We will make a proper announcement when we are done with the shoot, though,” he revealed. As per the latest reports, the makers have charted their schedule in Goa and other foreign regions.   

He also added that the ‘X factor’ of the Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan reunion will be the highlight of the film. “We have done a lot in the film. Hopefully, the audience will see that. That X-factor will shine in theatres,” he said. 

Thug Life marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after 35 years. They last worked together on the 1987 blockbuster film Nayakan.
