Since the last few days, the personal life of the well-known TV actress Rupali Ganguly has been in the spotlight, courtesy, her step daughter Esha Verma and the many allegations that she had levied on her. Even though Rupali Ganguly has maintained a stoic silence on the entire issue, she is yet to respond to the aforesaid alleged allegations.

In a recent post on social media, Esha Verma has yet again, spoken about her insecurities and the life that she's been living so far… although she has not named anyone in the video. She started off saying, “Hello everybody. My name is Esha Verma. And, if you know me, you will know me from the stories I have been circling on the internet from last week. I just want to say a big thank you for the kindness and the support I have received from others.

And, to those who have decided to speak up. And, share their stories and show that I am not alone in this. It’s really brave of you and you should be proud of yourself that you have been enduring all of this in silence. Just like I did. From all of this, I was able to find a purpose in my life. I want to continue to support and build a community for those who have endured similar issues or are going through it right now.

We need to do better as a society and as a community and speak up for the issues either of ours or another’s! We need to advocate against bullying and support self-love. There are lots of insecurities. Especially if somebody told us something from our past. Finding beauty in myself was always really hard.

But I learned that I am a beautiful person inside and out. I want to thank the people who really stood by me through the thick and the thin. And who cheered me on and were my cheerleaders in the sidelines. I am just as much your cheerleader. When this news broke out, the people who have stood by our sides, and had to watch us go through it all. Said, ‘Its finally time’. We are proud of you.

And the truth needs to come out. People don’t realise that we have our inner child living in us. And it comes out especially when the times are tough. I may be 26 now. But, the pain, the memories, they still stick. And things in the past affect your future and also your present.

I realized yesterday that, from all this, I have stood up against my bullies. My true bullies in my life. That only leaves me with my mother-someone whom I truly love. They chose to hurt me. They chose not to acknowledge me. They chose to abandon me. They chose to criticize and pick on insecurities. So, I will not feel good about myself.

They never apologise to me publicly or personally. And, what hurt me the most was the response from my own father. And how he chose to mock mental health. He did not protect me from the mean comments that were happening nor did he protect me in my entire life. And, that hurts. And even though you live you with strength and resilience and you find yourself and you fund your path and the opportunities that get you to a better place.

The wounds that you have healed open up again… especially when you have to see them in the media. I have avoided it. But, sometimes, it catches your attention. And, then, it hurts again and again. Especially when you build your character and your career by the lies of hurting someone else. And, not once, feel guilty about it”.

She then, captioned the said post as, ‘Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to watch my video and support me through this journey. Now, as we move forward, let’s all take something meaningful from it: stand up for yourself or others when you see injustice, work on advocating for mental health, and always seek peace and love in your life. If you’re facing something wrong, remember—you don’t deserve it. Stand up for what’s right and live your life with honesty, kindness, and integrity.

I’m here to listen if anyone needs a friend to talk to; we can work through it together. You’re not alone. Sending so much love to all of you. Now, I can finally take a little break and return to my daily life—spending time with friends, family, my hobbies, and focusing on my purpose, just like any young adult deserves to do.

Thank you again to everyone. This journey may have been messy, but it was essential for speaking our truth and finding peace in our hearts. I’m sending strength to all who need it’.
