The Sabarmati Report: Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna starrer gets postponed; to be released on THIS date!

All those who have seen the ‘burning’ trailer of the extremely hard hitting The Sabarmati Report just could not stop raving about it. No wonder then, the film made it to the list of most awaited films of the year. It now seems that the wait to see the film has just got longer.

As per the latest development, the release of Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna starrer The Sabarmati Report has now been postponed. The new release date of the film has been decided as November 15, 2024. The same was announced on social media from the handle of Balaji Motion Pictures

It stated, ‘The burning truth will be out on 15th November! Stay Tuned! #TheSabarmatiReport only in cinemas!’ In no time, there was an array of messages from the netizens who showed their reactions in the form of comments.

One netizen wrote ‘Even though this is not a good omen that the film is going to be postponed, the fact is the film is releasing all the same as this film is going to be poignant and hard-hitting portrayal of a tragic chapter in Indian history based on a true event, the film is going to go great depths of complexities into the incident, offering a nuanced view for the reasons behind what had transpired.

There was another user who wrote, ‘What draws one's attention most, though, is that apart from the powerful storyline, it features a much-proud-of cast like Vikrant Massey, known best for his intense performances and also super versatile actress Raashii Khanna. Something to look out for will be their on-screen chemistry with acting prowess bound to upgrade the film ' by a step.

Another user commented that, ‘A film like The Sabarmati Report is sure to be the call of the day that binds touches socially relevant themes as such a sensitive film would tackle issues like communal violence and social unrest and how such events do affect the individual psyche of its victims and the sociological impact on the society. As for the film The Sabarmati Report, besides Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna, it also stars Riddhi Dogra in an all-important role. While the film is being directed by Ranjan Chandel, it has been produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Amul V Mohan.
