Ranbir Kapoor has made headlines as much for his relationships as he has for his acting career. He is now all set to marry actress Alia Bhatt next week.
Ranbir Kapoor , apart from his big career milestones in Bollywood, has often made news for his relationships since he debuted. The actor has hardly ever been single since the world came to know him as an actor and has often made news for dating life and break-ups in the 15 years of his career.
Ranbir’s love life was always as intriguing has his film choices. However, the actor is now all set to marry actress Alia Bhatt who he has been in a relationship with for the past five years. You’d be surprised to learn that the only time Ranbir has been single in these many years has been the year 2016, when he broke up with actress Katrina Kaif .
The actor who arrived at the Bollywood scene in 2007, was soon linked with his Saawariya co-star Sonam Kapoor. Shortly after, made his relationship official with actress Deepika Padukone . But a few years and one RK tattoo later the relationship hit the rocks when Ranbir met Katrina Kaif on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in 2008.
The two actors went on to date for several years, with speculations suggesting that the two intended to get married. When in 2016, Katrina and Ranbir finally broke up and the Sanju actor was single for the first time in nearly a decade until he met and fell in love with actress Alia Bhatt on the sets of Brahmastra .
In an interview, Ranbir also spoke about being single for the first time in many years and revealed that he has in fact never been single since he was 13 and entered his first relationship with a girl from his school.
“The thing is I have never been single in my life. Since the age of 13 in the seventh grade, till now I have always been in a relationship. This is the first time I am actually been single and it’s amazing. You have a lot of time for yourself,” Ranbir had said in 2017, during the AIB podcast.
He soon after met Alia who he made his relationship official with at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception in May 2018. The Brahmastra co-stars are now all set to get married next week at the Kapoor family home in Chembur, Mumbai.
