The Kapil Sharma Show returns with new season as show judge Archana Puran Singh gears up for promo shoot; Watch

Ever since the popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show went off-air, fans have been eagerly waiting for the show’s return. Well, the show judge Archana Puran Singh has now dropped the much-awaited first glimpse of the upcoming new season. The actress shared the behind-the-scenes of the promo shoot on her Instagram handle.

Sharing the video, Archana wrote, “Sneak peek of the promo shoot for @kapilsharmashow Yesss! It's coming back sooooooon in a fresh, new, and exciting new avatar! Watch out for more deets !” In the video, Archana can be seen all excited as she kickstarts the first day shoo of the show after a long time. She gave a sneak peek into the rehearsals going behind the upcoming teaser but show host Kapil Sharma and other comedians are missed. Towards the end of it, she joked that she is not able to learn even one-line dialogue for the promo. Have a look:

The Kapil Sharma show went off-air as the team members including Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar, and Sumona Chakraborty among others went out on an international tour. The first live show took place in Vancouver and Toronto in Canada. It was followed by events in the US. It was also reported that host Kapil’s busy shooting schedule for his upcoming movie Zwigato directed by Nandita Das, was one of the reasons behind the show's going temporarily off-air.

As per the latest reports, the makers have decided to bring back the comedy show in September with a fresh avatar. The cast will remain and Archana will continue to rule the judge’s chair. Apparently, there will be some new additions to the cast to take up the entertainment quotient a notch higher. If reports are to be believed, the show will go on air on September 3 on Sony TV.
