The Great Indian Kapil Show: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal to appear on ‘shaadi special’ episode along with Shatrughan Sinha and wife

Bollywood celebrity couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will appear on the next ‘shaadi special’ episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show along with her parents - veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. The makers of the Kapil Sharma-hosted comedy show released the promo of the latest episode, giving the audience a glimpse of all the fun banter between Shatrughan and his wife Poonam Sinha. The episode will also mark Sonakshi Sinha’s first appearance on a show with her husband Zaheer Iqbal.

Sinha family on The Great Indian Kapil Show

Taking to Instagram, the makers of The Great Indian Kapil Show shared the promo of the latest episode featuring Shatrughan Sinha, Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal. The promo begins with a spectacular entry of Sonakshi with Zaheer with the actress telling the audience, “Jisko bhi shaadi karni hai Kapil ke show par jao or usko bhaiya bulana shuru karo (Whoever wants to get married come to Kapil’s show and start with ‘Bhaiya’).” She later asks ‘bhaiya’ Kapil to meet her ‘saiyan’ Zaheer.

Later, Shatrughan Sinha makes his entry with his wife Poonam Sinha. In the promo, Shatrughan reveals a funny anecdote where veteran actor Dharmendra advised Shatrughan that since he has come from the film industry and has such a fan following, he should always be a 'one-woman man at a time'. Zaheer reacted to his statement by saying that he thought it was a family episode, what’s happening?

When Archana Puran Singh asked Poonam if Shatrughan had ever apologised to her, the former Miss Young India said, “Ye or kabhi sorry bole. God that will be the day.”

In the promo, it is revealed that comedian Krushna Abhishek will feature as actor Jitendra, making the guests laugh out with his mimicry.

Shatrughan Sinha’s witty comments

When Kapil asks Poonam to give numbers to Shatrughan on the basis of patience, she gives two, and Shatrughan replies, “Are Kapil itne saal se jhel raha hu ye patience hi hai na (I have been tolerating for so many years. This is patience, right).”

The makers captioned the post, “Sab ko khaamosh karne aa rahe hai… the Sinhas. Watch Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Shatrughan Sinha & Poonam Sinha on the new episode of #TheGreatIndianKapilShow, this Funnyvaar, at 8 PM, only on Netflix.”

The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will release on Netflix at 8 PM on November 22.
