The Great Indian Kapil Show: Kapil Sharma reveals he ‘ran after’ Aamir Khan for six months

    In a BTS video shared by the makers of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kapil Sharma revealed pursuing Aamir Khan for several months.

    Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show has finished its final season on Netflix and the makers have announced that Season two is in the making. Marking The Great Indian Kapil Show’s final, a behind-the-scenes video was released, featuring BTS clips of all the episodes.

    In one clip, host and comedian Kapil Sharma can be seen revealing that his team pursued Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for several months.

    Kapil ‘ran after’ Aamir Khan

    Speaking about his experience of shooting the episode with actor Aamir Khan, Kapil said, “When we would come on TV, we would shoot 8 episodes in a month. But this time, we shot one episode, featuring Aamir Khan, for over 8 months. Initially, we ran after him to shoot the episode for six months, then he ran after us for 2 months to show him the episode and how it turned out. But that episode was really appreciated.”

    Actor Aamir Khan is known to stay away from the limelight and makes public appearances rarely. So, Aamir turning up as a guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show came as a surprise and a shock to his fans. In the episode, Aamir did not shy away from revealing anecdotes from his personal and professional life.

    In the same BTS clip, Kartik Aaryan’s mother Mala Tiwari, who came as a guest on the final episode, revealed the struggles her family had to face when Kartik was training for Chandu Champion. She said, “Every mother will feel bad if her kid is not being allowed to eat properly, but later I understood it was for the film. He loves Chole Bhature, but we didn’t cook this dish for a year to prevent him from having any temptation. So, he did the diet for his body, and we did the diet for him.”

    Recently, the makers of The Great Indian Kapil Show took to social media and revealed that season two of the Kapil Sharma-hosted show will soon premiere on Netflix.
