The Buckingham Murders: Kareena Kapoor Khan's thriller film to release on THIS date!

The wait for Hansal Mehta’s thriller mystery film The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, will soon be over. The makers of The Buckingham Murders unveiled new poster images of the film,  revealing its release date.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of The Buckingham Murders shared two new poster images of the film and revealed the film’s release date. The caption states, “We’re thrilled to announce that #TheBuckinghamMurders is coming to theatres on 13th September 2024. Directed by @hansalmehta and starring @kareenakapoorkhan.”

The first poster image features Kareena looking intently at something. The second black and white poster features Kareena being held by police officers.

The Buckingham Murders is directed by Hansal Mehta and backed by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. It is written by Aseem Arrora, Raghav Raj Kakker and Kashyap Kapoor.

Fans excited over The Buckingham Murders

Kareena’s fans were excited to note that the talented actress was cast in a thriller film. One user wrote, “This lady in crime/thriller is my favourite,” while another wrote, “Excited to watch this as eagerly waiting.”

Among her industry colleagues, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar commented with a red heart and fire emoji.

Hansal Mehta on The Buckingham Murders

The film also already generated a lot of buzz in film festivals. Earlier the film was supposed to be released in mid-2024. Director Hansal Mehta in an interview with Filmibeat said, “We are currently working on a release date. There are some streaming commitments, and based on that, we will decide. But it will be released somewhere between July and August this year. It had a festival run, and I can't wait to share the film with all of you."

Kareena will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor, among others.
