The Archies: Know what Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda and others play in Zoya Akhtar's film

Zoya Akhtar dropped the trailer of her much-awaited Netflix film, The Archies today (November 9). The movie marks the debut of Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor. It also stars Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Dot in the lead roles. The movie is based on our favorite Archies comics. Here’s all you need to know about what the lead actors are playing in the movie.

Agastya Nanda

Agastya plays the titular role of Archie Andrews. He is the head of the group and is an aspiring musician. Archie is charming, free-spirited, and flamboyant but also has a vulnerable side. He is guilty of a lot of female attention, especially from Betty and Veronica.

Suhana Khan

Suhana plays the rich, beautiful, and papa’s princess Veronica Lodge. She has all the boys swooning over her and completely enjoys the attention. Veronica never goes haywire with her clothes, hair, or makeup.

Khushi Kapoor

Khushi essays Betty Cooper who can be described as sensitive and empathetic. She is nurturing and giving towards her friends and has her heart fluttering for Archie. Despite being best friends with Veronica, she certainly sees her as a rival for Archie’s heart.

Mihir Ahuja

Mihir plays probably one of the fan favorites, Jughead Jones. He loves food and an easy-going lethargic lifestyle. Despite his carelessness and laziness, he adores his friends and is best friends with Archie.

Vedang Raina

Vedang plays Reggie Mantle. He is handsome, charismatic, and can be roguish sometimes. He often sees a rival in Archie especially when it comes to winning over the ladies.

Yuvraj Menda

Yuvraj essays the role of Dilton Doiley. He is the quintessential nerd of the group. He wears spectacles and is an expert in all things geeky and science.

Dot

Dot plays Ethel Muggs. Ethel is comparatively simple-looking than Betty and Veronica but is a nevertheless caring person. She is described as having an infatuation towards Jugheads. In the movie, she is also shown to have a salon.
