The Archies: First look of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor's debut film out now

The wait is finally over for those who were eagerly waiting for an update on Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda, and Sridevi's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor’s debut film. The first look of their Netflix film, The Archies is finally out. It has been helmed by Zoya Akhtar.

Talking about the same, the movie can be seen totally inspired by the cult comic book, ‘Archies’. It has all the cast members of the movie posing as their characters in a forest-like backdrop. By the looks of it, it seems Agastya Nanda is playing the titular character of Archie Andrews while Suhana Khan is playing Betty Cooper and Khushi Kapoor is essaying the role of Veronica Lodge. Take a look at the first announcement poster of the same.

Agastya Nanda can be seen donning a striped tee with a grey jacket and light brown pants. While Suhana Khan looks pretty in a pinafore attire as she opts for a sleek hairdo. Khushi Kapoor looks stunning in an orange maxi dress. The movie also stars Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina in the lead roles. The cast members also shared an announcement teaser of the same which has them going all goofy and having fun with each other.

It seems like the other star cast members are playing the other important characters from the Archie comic books like Reggie, Jughead, Moose, and Ethel. The poster furthermore has a picnic basket and a guitar kept in the background which hints toward an important gathering sequence of all the characters in the movie. The movie is scheduled to be released in the year 2023. It has been bankrolled by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Production.

Earlier in mid-April, Reema Kagti who is also producing the movie had shared a picture of a clapboard on her social media handle which showed the shooting of the first shot of The Archies. Before that, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan were also spotted on the sets of the movie, giving their look tests for the same. Talking about the movie, Zoya Akhtar had stated, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today."
