Dot aka Ethel Muggs from The Archies
Actress-musician Aditi Saigal who goes by her stage name Dot is garnering a lot of praise for her performance as Ethel Muggs in The Archies. She made her Bollywood debut with the movie and recently took to her social media handle to share some loving memories from the film, right from BTS moments to her emotions at the screening. The film was helmed by Zoya Akhtar and was released on Netflix recently.
Talking about the same, the first picture has Dot posing for a selfie with the entire star cast of The Archies. We see her practicing a dance session with Yuvraj Menda who played Dilton in the film. In another video, we see her and Khushi Kapoor singing a song while enjoying a car drive in the night. She furthermore shared an unseen picture of the boys of The Archies. It has Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj, Mihir Ahuja, and Rudra Mahuvakar posing together for a cute picture. She also shared a delightful picture of Zoya sitting with a crew member at a dining table. The ‘Everybody Dances To Techno’ singer also flaunted her amazing skating skills in one of the videos on the post. She shared a heartwarming picture wherein she wore a beautiful sleeveless red frock gown at the screening of The Archies. The last picture has her getting emotional and breaking down to tears as she hugs her mother inside the theatre.
Dot captioned the post stating, “Two whirlwind years spent with these lovely people. From learning how to skate to writing music for film to wearing a goddamn ball gown at the premiere - what a ride. (Last photo is me sobbing and hugging my mum in said ball gown).”
Her The Archies co-star Delnaaz Irani along with Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor Gourav Adarsh poured some love into the post. The movie also marks the debut of Agastya, Khushi, and Suhana Khan. The film is based on the cult-classic Archie comic books.
