Tanishaa Mukherjee laughs at rumours of her secret wedding says, 'I am not a quiet person'

Kajol ’s sister and actor Tanishaa Mukherjee recently fell prey to a wedding hoax as her fashion choices in a recent post led many of her followers astray. All it took was for Tanishaa to post pictures of her feet adorning silver toe rings and it got a lot of folks sharing their own theories about what the post could mean.

Some even went so far as to speculate that the Neal and Nikki actress tied the knot even without informing her family. Tanishaa is holidaying in Goa and on being contacted the actress was amused to learn of this web of speculations going wild on social media as she was apparently in a no network zone and had no idea how far things had gone.

Tanishaa was amused by the notion that her posting picture wearing toe rings could be deduced as a secret wedding and told Hindustan Times, “I like wearing toe rings and I thought it looked good. That’s why, I took a picture and posted it. There’s nothing more to it. Do I need to justify my fashion sense to people?”

The actress further added that she will get married when she finds the right person and said that she will gladly tell the world about it. “I’m not breaking all the hearts yet. If and when I tie the knot, I will let the world know it. I’m not a quiet person. It’ll (the wedding) be a fanfare,” Tanisha further added when as about tying the knot anytime soon.

On the work front Tanishaa was last seen in the 2020 film Code Name Abdul and has Rosie The Saffron Chapter lined up next for release.
