The feeling of India scoring a thumping victory against the mighty South Africa in the just concluded ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup is yet to sink in. Almost every single moment from the match seems to be simply fresh in the memories of every Indian. Virat Kohli, who was awarded the prestigious Player Of The Match award in the final match, wrote an extremely heartfelt note for his beloved wife Anushka Sharma.
In his note, Virat Kohli wrote, ‘None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn’t be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it’s mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU (many emojis of red shaped hearts) @anushkasharma’.
In no time, this post went on to garner many responses from across the globe. While the global Indian superstar Priyanka Chopra posted emojis of crown amongst the other emojis, there was Athiya Shetty who posted a heart shaped emoji. Besides them, there were an array of fans and followers of the celebrity duo who just could not stop praising and appreciating them!
Just a couple of days back, there was Anushka Sharma who had posted the iconic photograph of her hubby Virat Kohli holding the prestigious trophy in his hand as he was doing the customary round of the ground. On her part, Anushka Sharma posted, ‘AND ….. I love this man @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home - now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this!’.
While this post was ‘liked’ by many, there were celebs like Kajol, Priyanka Chopra and Richa Chadha who commented on the lovely post with the heartfelt choice of words and many emojis as well.
