Recently, the makers revealed that they have officially wrapped up the filming, sharing a post featuring the entire cast and crew.

Today, director Karthik Subbaraj shared two fun pictures of himself with actor Suriya on social media and wrote, “Trying to pose Little Serious ... And the Afterwards!” The newly shared pictures show the actor-director duo striking a serious pose in one photo, while the other captures them losing themselves in laughter. Fans were seen reacting to his post by dropping laughing emojis in the comments section.

Suriya wraps up shooting for Suriya 44

Recently, the makers completed shooting for Suriya 44 and shared the update on social media. Suriya posted a heartfelt note, thanking filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj and revealing that he found a new brother in the director. He wrote, “A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations… Lots of memories with the super talented cast & crew… I made a brother for life, @karthiksubbaraj. About Suriya 44

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Suriya 44 is the first collaboration between Suriya and the director. When the project was initially announced, the makers shared the first-look poster featuring an arrow piercing the bark of a tree, flames in the background, and the silhouette of a car. The caption under the poster read, “#Love Laughter War,” hinting that the film might be an action-packed romantic comedy. The team has yet to reveal additional key details about the cast and crew.

The film stars Suriya and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, while Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, Sujith Shankar, Thamizh, Ramachandran Durairaj, Prem Kumar, Sandeep Raj, Remya Suresh, and MD Asif play supporting roles. Shriya Saran is rumored to make a cameo appearance in a dance number. On the technical front, the film features an original background score and soundtrack composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
