Suresh Chandra breaks silence on Ajith Kumar-Prashanth Neel meeting

The pop culture news that broke the internet this week was the rumoured collaboration between Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar and hit director Prashanth Neel. Speculations were rife about Ajith becoming a part of the movie that would expand Neel's blockbuster franchise, KGF.
Fans of Ajith were overjoyed and flooded social media with happy memes and messages. However, their happiness was short-lived after learning that there was no truth to this report.
Celebrity manager Suresh Chandra, who also manages Ajith, finally broke his silence on the matter. As per the reports, Suresh confirmed that a meeting between Ajith and Neel did take place. However, it was just a casual meeting between two artists, and no projects were discussed or finalized at the time.
Suresh Chandra also reportedly revealed that Ajith and Neel expressed mutual admiration for each other and showed interest in a future collaboration. However, this may not happen anytime soon as both are busy with their separate projects.
At the moment, Ajith is busy shooting for Vidaamuyarchi. Written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film is billed as an out-and-out action thriller. The production of this film is in its last leg and is gearing up for release in October.
Following this, Ajith will resume shooting for Good Bad Ugly, which is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. This is touted to be a comedy-drama, with Ajith playing the role of an eccentric gangster. However, not much is known about Ajith's character or the storyline.
Meanwhile, Neel will start shooting for Saalar 2, which is believed to be the final part of the saga of crime, loyalty, and betrayal set in a fictional city-state. The movie stars Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role, while Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran plays a key role in it.
