Superboys of Malegaon trailer- Adarsh Gourav shines in this tale of achieving dreams against all odds | WATCH

Today, the much-awaited trailer of Superboys of Malegaon was launched on social media. This Adarsh Gourav film seems to be just what one needed to achieve one’s dreams despite all the roadblocks, challenges and naysayers.

As for the trailer, it starts off with a glimpse into the life of Nasir Shaikh (Adarsh Gourav), who is living a very stereotyped life in Malegaon. Suddenly, after watching a programme on television, he strikes upon an idea of making a full-length feature film. In no time, he taps upon all his friend gang and tells them about his idea of making a film! No sooner do they hear Nasir’s idea of filmmaking; they start ridiculing him and his idea!

Upon that, Nasir explains his thought process behind making the film. He tells his friend gang that, since there is too much sadness in Malegaon, it’s important that they need to have some comic relief and also some bit of laughter in their (day-to-day) lives.

On the other hand, Nasir is also under the pressure of managing his love life as his girlfriend requests him for marriage as her parents are speeding up the custom of ‘laddki-dikhaana’. Being the ‘yaaror kaa yaar’ that he is, Nasir does not outsource anyone from outside. Instead, he strikes upon an idea of having the entire production unit from his village itself!

What follows after that are a series of roadblocks and challenges from all over while Nasir is realizing his dreams of making a full-length feature film. How he overcomes all the trials and succeeds in not just making his dream come true, but also escalate the people of Malegaon into dizzying heights is what seems like the crux of the film.

As for the film Superboys Of Malegaon, besides Adarsh Gourav, it also stars an ensemble cast of Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Anuj Singh Duhan, Saqib Ayub, Pallav Singgh, Manjiri Pupala , Muskkaan Jaferi. While the film is being directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover, it has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

As per the media note, it has been stated that the film has been slated to be released in theatres in January 2025, which will be then, followed by its streaming on Prime Video. Watch this space for developments and updates.
