Sunny Deol is a doting father to his sons Karan and Rajveer, and never shies away from expressing his love for his children. On the occasion of Karan’s 27th birthday (on November 27), Sunny shared a heartfelt post for him, calling him his pride and heart. The heartfelt post features some lovely moments shared between the father-son duo over the years.
Sunny Deol’s birthday post for Karan
Taking to Instagram, Sunny Deol shared a video of himself along with his elder son Karan. Extending birthday wishes to him, Sunny wrote, “Happy Birthday My Rocky! You are my pride and my heart.”
The video begins with Sunny and Karan sitting on top of a mountain and Sunny says, “Father son over here on top of a roof trying to collect these clouds over here.” The video is followed by some never-seen-before pictures of the father-son duo. In another video, Sunny and Karan are inside a tent and the actor says, “This is what it is. There is nothing to it, Just do it. Okay. Love you.”
Some of the pictures also feature his younger son Rajveer and father, veteran actor Dharmendra. The video ends with Sunny telling Karan, “Love you beta.”
Karan Deol’s acting debut
For those unaware, Karan made his acting debut in 2019 with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas alongside Sahher Bambba. The film was directed by Sunny Deol himself. According to reports, Karan will be seen next in Apne 2, alongside his father, Sunny Deol, grandfather Dharmendra, and uncle, Bobby Deol.
On the personal front, Karan got hitched to Drisha Acharya on June 18, 2023. The lavish wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai and was attended by many Bollywood celebrities.
The year 2023 brought an exciting chain of events for the Deol family. While Sunny Deol made his successful comeback with the action-drama film Gadar 2, Bobby Deol also mesmerised the audience with his portrayal of an antagonist in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. Their father Dharmendra was also widely appreciated for playing the role of Kunwal in Karan Johar-directed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
