It is reported that actor Suniel Shetty endured a severe injury on the sets of his upcoming web series Hunter.

Veteran actor Suniel Shetty has sustained injuries on the sets of his upcoming show Hunter. The actor was part of an action sequence where a wooden log was used as a prop but a mistimed movement led to the leg hitting him on the rib cage. After proper diagnosis, the actor shared his health updates with his fans through social media.
Suniel Shetty sustains rib injury
A source revealed to Pinkvilla that the actor is severely injured. Doctors and X-ray machines have been called on the set to assess the injury. The source added that the scheduled shoot for Mumbai has been halted now. The report further stated, “Suniel Shetty badly injured on the sets of his next web series Hunter during an action scene. He was hit on the rib cage by a wood during an action scene. Doctors and X-ray machines have been called on the stage. Suniel is in extreme pain."
The actor was performing his own stunts also involving four to five action performers when the accident occurred.

He reacted to the news and shared updates about his health with his fans on social media. He wrote a message on Instagram that read, “Minor injury, nothing serious! I’m absolutely fine and ready for the next shot. Grateful for all the love & care #OnSet."
Hunter is a series that premiered on Amazon Mini TV last year and features Suniel Shetty as ACP Vikram. The series also features Esha Deol and Jackie Shroff and is directed by Dhiman and Alok Batra.
On the work front, Suniel will also be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, featuring Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. Helmed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, the film is presented by Base Industries Group. Welcome To The Jungle will hit the theaters around Christmas 2024.
