Stree2: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer creates history; becomes the no. 1 Hindi film of all time!
Around 40 days or so, the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 was released. Even though there was immense hype regarding the film (all thanks to the excitement set by its first part Stree), little did anyone know that, in the coming days, the film will go onto not just erase the history set by many blockbusters, but also rewrite its own story and that too in bold golden letters!
The latest update on the film is that it has now become the highest number one Hindi film of all time! In other words, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has now created his-Stree! The week went by and saw the film collecting Rs. 586 crores in total. The figures of the previous days were as follows: 3.60 crores on Friday, Rs. 5.55 crores on Saturday, Rs. 6.85 crores on Sunday, Rs. 3.17 crores on Monday and Rs. 2.65 crores on Tuesday.
Besides Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film Stree 2 also stars the veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in all important roles. While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
While on one hand, the film Stree 2 is going great guns at the box office, on the other hand, a few days back, there was a ‘min-war’ kind of situation which had arisen, but was sorted out in no time. For the unversed, there was a war of credits which had got fuelled in the media. In a recent interview with Zoom, the film’s director cleared the air.
In the said interview, Amar said that they had video-called each other when the controversy around the credits sparked online and had simply laughed about it. Do watch this space for further updates and developments.
