Abhishek Banerjee and producer Dinesh Vijan confirmed making Stree 3 and revealed some crucial information.

Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark at the box office. Jayprad Desai’s Stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film Stree 2 which had the same star cast. Speaking about the next installment of the Stree franchise, actor Abhishek Banerjee revealed that some parts of Stree 3’s script are ready, while producer Dinesh Vijan said that the part three will give answers to all the questions that arose in part one.

During a conversation with The Indian Express, actor Abhishek Banerjee was asked about the making of Stree 3. He revealed that it would take some time to make the third part of the franchise, but it would not take as much time as it did with Stree 2. He added that it would not take the makers six years to make Stree 3 and that the film is going to be a saga.

He added, “Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga, and as an actor, I am dying to be back on that set."

Speaking more about the third part of the franchise, actor Aparshakti Khurana said that the frames for Stree 3 are ready and that the cast is waiting for director Amar Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan to reveal more details.

Producer Dinesh Vijan had also earlier confirmed the making of Stree 3 at the trailer launch of Stree 2, by saying that the third part will give answers to various questions that arose in the first film and will explain many connections. He said, “Stree 2 is like a mothership. We have already written Stree 3, so the gap will be less.”

Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 is a sequel film to the 2018 film Stree. Set in the town of Chanderi, Stree showcased the townspeople being scared of a spirit called Stree who abducts single men. The second part features the townspeople seeking help from Stree to fight against another spirit called Sarkata.
