Even though the upcoming film Stree 2 stars the stunning Shraddha Kapoor and the suave Rajkummar Rao in the leading roles, there is Varun Dhawan who will be seen in a guest appearance. Speaking about Varun Dhawan, the superstar today took to social media and shared a BTS (Behind The Scenes) video of the special song that features him and Shraddha Kapoor.
He captioned the said post as, ‘#bts #khboosurat Always fun when u can let your #bhediya out @shraddhakapoor @rajkummar_rao @nowitsabhi @vishalmishraofficial @sachinjigar amarkaushik #stree2’. Those who have seen the video will recall the fact that, even though the song is a romantic track between Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, there is one particular moment in the BTS video that has now caught everyone’s attention!
The moment that we are referring to ‘features’ Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Rajkummar Rao. During the rehearsal of the said track ‘Khoobsurat’, there was a moment when all the three actors came together face to face. Knowing the prankster that she is, Shraddha took back her face. Since this was unexpected by both Varun Dhawan and Rajkummar Rao, the two almost came at a ‘kissing distance’ with each other!
Shraddha Kapoor, on the other hand, just could not hold on to her laughter seeing both her co-stars in such a condition! As for Stree 2, it happens to be the sequel of Stree, the horror-comedy which was released in the year 2018 and had captured many hearts because of its unqiue content. Stree 2 will be about the reuniting of characters played by Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and also a mysterious mystery that will be seen haunting the town of Chanderi.
Besides Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is all set to be released in theatres on August 15, 2024.
