Stree 2- Shraddha Kapoor drops a ‘scary’ poster of the film; reveals the trailer date

‘Stree came, Stree saw, Stree conquered’… well… There could not be a better way to describe the response that the first part of the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree’ had garnered after it got released. Even though this film was of the ‘horror’ genre, till date, it remains one of the most loved films in that genre. Buoyed by the sweeping success of the film, the makers decided to make its sequel.

As for the sequel, it had been titled ‘Stree 2’. Ever since the film had been announced, all the cinegoers were simply super excited to see what’s in store for them in the film’s sequel. And today, it was the ‘stree’ herself (Shraddha Kapoor) took to social media and shared a rather unusual poster of the film. Not just that, she also gave the good news to all the fans who were eagerly waiting to see the film’s trailer.

On her part, Shraddha Kapoor revealed that the film’s trailer will be dropped in two days! After Shraddha Kapoor posted the film’s ‘intriguing’ poster, she captioned the same as, ‘Ek badi suchna - O Stree aa rahi hai in just 2 din! #Stree2 Trailer in 2 days! The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024’.

As for the film Stree 2’s teaser, one got to see glimpses of Rajkummar (in the role of Vicky Parashar), with his two best friends Bittu and Jana (Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee respectively). As for Shraddha Kapoor, she looked extremely intense in the teaser.

For the unversed, the film Stree 2 picks up from where the original film Stree had left off... which was an insight into the mysterious town of Chanderi and the mysterious ‘Stree’. Besides Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the film also stars the extremely versatile Pankaj Tripathi along with Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in important roles.

While the film ‘Stree 2’ has been directed by Amar Kaushik and has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
