Stree 2 out on OTT: Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer now streaming on Prime Video! Deets here!

That the Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 is one of the most gigantic hits of Bollywood is something that we all know by now. There must hardly be anyone right now who must not have seen the horror thriller that also stars the inimitable Rajkummar Rao as the leading man. Ever since the time the film was released, it has been making news and for all the right reasons.

This time round, we have a news that will definitely be news to many ears who have been, by now, ‘Stree 2-fied’ or want to be one of the ever-growing list of fans of the film, then, here is your chance to do so. The latest update on the film is that, the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer is now available on OTT!

Looking back a bit, the film Stree 2 was released in theatres on August 15, 2024 along with John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa and also the Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor starrer Khel Khel Mein. While the other two films did not live upto the expectations, it was Stree 2 which went onto become a clear and a sure-fire winner!

The latest news is that the film can now be seen on Prime Video absolutely free of cost. Just a few days back, the film’s makers had announced that the film was available for rent on Prime Video at Rs 349. Under this, the viewers were able to see the film within a 48-hour watch window. With the auspicious occasion of Dussehra coming up within a couple of days, there could not have been a better time for the makers to have decided to stream the film on OTT platform.

On their part, Amazon India took to social media and shared an extremely creative message announcing the streaming of Stree 2 on OTT. They shared a poster of a braid with a trademark curve (that resembles a smile of Amazon) with the caption ‘Woh aa rahi hai. Ek surprise hai, kal aana’. As for the film Stree 2, till date, reports state that, it has managed to collect more than Rs. 600 at the domestic box office and above Rs. 862 crore world over.

As for the film, besides Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, it also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in all important roles. While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
