Stree 2 box-office week 1: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer crosses the Rs. 400 crore mark globally

As we had written a few days ago, the best way to depict the success of the Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 is ‘Stree came, Stree saw, Stree conquered’. The rate at which the film is ruling the box office, many feel that the film is now all set to create history at the box office. After having gotten to a fiery start, Stree 2 has now touched the magical figure of Rs. 400 crore globally, which is definitely a huge achievement in itself!

As for the first week’s box office collections of the film, it is continuing its dream run in the theatres even after nine days. The film went onto collect an impressive Rs 16.5 crore nett on its ninth day, as per the latest update on the most reliable industry tracker Sacnilk. With the film crossing the magical Rs 300 crore in India, the film has now emerged to be one of the most successful films of Bollywood.

With the film’s total standing at Rs. 308.15 crores, the film is now all set to surpass the worldwide box office collection of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. For the unversed, the Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu starrer had collected a total of Rs. 454 crore worldwide.

Besides Stree 2, there were also two other films that had been released along with it. These two films were the John Abraham, Sharvari starrer Vedaa and also the Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannus starrer Khel Khel Mein. As for the box office collections of John Abraham’s Vedaa, it stands at Rs. 17.60 Cr India (nett), and that of Khel Khel Mein, it stands at Rs. 20.05 crores (India Net Collection) and Rs. 31.10 crores (worldwide Collection).
