Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 16: The Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer all set to enter the Rs 500 crore club!

If at all one had to sum up the box office run of the Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, the one word that truly describes it is ‘unstoppable’. The film has been making noise (and also money) right from the time it had been released in theatres. Even though there have been other films which had been released alongside Stree 2 and also in the subsequent weeks, the film has not just surpassed these films, but also surpassed many of the records set by other films which have been bonafide blockbusters.

As per the latest update on the film’s box office collections, at the end of the sixteenth day, the Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer has managed to collect Rs 7.75 crore on its third Friday. Even though this has been the film’s lowest single-day business till now, still, the film is now all set to enter the Rs. 500 crore club, which the trade pundits feel can happen anytime soon.

With just Rs. 60 crores away from entering the Rs. 500 crore club, the Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer, has by now, surpassed the overall collections of many blockbuster films. The Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2, has to its credit of being the biggest opener of 2024 with a box office collection of Rs 55.40 crore on day one of its release. Even though the film was released alongside John Abraham’s Vedaa and Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor starrer Khel Khel Mein, the film has been registering an impressive collection and growth at the box office.

Besides this, Stree 2 also became the sixth highest-grossing Hindi film of all time with a total domestic collection of Rs 445 crore. In other words, the film managed to surpass the overall collections of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and even Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. Not just that, Stree 2 has even managed to surpass the domestic box office records of blockbuster films like Baahubali: The Beginning and KGF: Chapter 2.

As for the film Stree 2, besides Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, it also stars the veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee.
