Sonam Kapoor becomes the only Indian to be invited to London by a famous British luxury fashion house
This is not the first time that Sonam Kapoor will be attending a global event. She earlier made India proud when she delivered an exclusive spoken word piece at the grand Coronation Concert planned for King Charles III in May.
Sonam Kapoor’s exclusive fashion and luxury choices have made her a cut above the rest of her contemporaries. With her extraordinary fashion statements, the actress recently achieved a rare feat of becoming the only Indian to have been invited by British luxury fashion house, Burberry, for their exclusive Ready To Wear show in London.
The Neerja actress will be gracing the event on September 18 to see Burberry’s new Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee’s RTW collection. She would be the only Indian actor to be part of this prestigious moment. Earlier in July, the actress donned a fabulous preview from Daniel Lee's Resort 24 collection for Burberry. She also carried a stunning bag from the new collection of the brand. Take a look:
This is not the first time that Sonam will be attending a global event. She earlier made India proud when she delivered an exclusive spoken word piece at the grand Coronation Concert planned for King Charles III in May. She wore an off-shoulder pristine white gown which was an effort of designers Emilia Wickstead and Anamika Khanna. Sharing pictures of her look for the coronation concert on Instagram, she wrote, "Historic moments call for fashion moments. I'm honored to mark the unforgettable occasion of the #Coronationconcert by wearing the collaborative vision of two of the most incredible designers from the two countries I'm lucky to call home."
Meanwhile, workwise, Sonam was last seen in the crime thriller Blind, directed by Shome Makhija. The film featured Sonam as a blind ex-police officer co-starring Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. Though the film received a lukewarm response from viewers, Sonam’s performance was highly appreciated by critics. Up next, she will be seen in two projects, the details of which have been kept under wraps.
