Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja turn hosts for David Beckham; Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor & others join the bash

Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja hosted a welcome party for former English footballer David Beckham at their residence yesterday (November 15) night. Beckham is on a three-day visit to India and was seen attending the India Vs New Zealand match which also took place yesterday. The legendary sportsman was seen enjoying the match alongside Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

Talking about the same, Sonam, Anand, and David also came out to pose for the paparazzi. David was seen wearing a casual all-black attire. Anand was seen in a traditional dark green kurta and white pants. Sonam went for a white and red saree with balloon sleeves. The Dilli 6 actress furthermore opted for a chunky necklace and earrings. She tied her hair into a bun with a red flower as a Gajra. Take a look at the video.

The actress’ father and veteran actor Anil Kapoor joined them for the bash. He looked dapper in a white tee which he paired with a cream-colored blazer suit and pants. Furthermore, Shahid Kapoor with his wife Mira Rajput also graced the party. While the Kabir Singh actor went for grey formal wear, Mira could be seen opting for a pink-colored traditional attire. Apart from this, Sonam’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag co-star Farhan Akhtar appeared at the bash along with his wife Shibani Dandekar. Earlier, in the bash, many pictures and videos of David having a conversation with Kiara and Sidharth had gone viral on social media. South actor Venkatesh Dagubatti also shared a picture with the football legend. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam was last seen in the movie The Blind. The actress is currently also enjoying motherhood to her toddler son Vayu.
