Sonakshi Sinha has THIS reply to fans asking if she got engaged

Actor Sonakshi Sinha has been making headlines for her cryptic posts on her supposed engagement on social media. The actress had left her fans and her friends from the industry wondering if she had just announced her engagement with a series of photos in which she is flaunting a huge diamond ring. Now, the actress has replied to the fan's question about her rumoured engagement in a recent Q and A session on her Instagram handle.

On Tuesday, Sonakshi held a session in which addressed fans' questions rather flippantly. When one fan asked, “Definitely you bought yourself a diamond ring, Jk just excited for this.” She replied, “Love the free, independent and forward way that you think. You nailed it!” When she was asked if she was a brand ambassador of a diamond company, she answered, “No darling. I am AsliSona.” However, when a fan directly asked if she had found a partner and he had proposed to her, the actress again dropped a mysterious reply. “Haye, if only it was so EZI.” she wrote.

The speculations of Sonakshi’s engagement started when she posted three pictures of herself with a man who is cropped from the frame. In the pictures, she can be seen wearing a big-sized diamond ring on her engagement finger. Not only this, she sent her fans in frenzy with her caption that read, “Big day for me. One of my biggest dreams is coming true and I can't wait to share it with you. Cant believe it was SO EZI.”

Even Sonakshi’s industry friends left congratulatory messages in the comment section of her posts believing she got engaged. While Neha Dhupia wrote, “Congratulations Sona @aslisona,” Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations sona! This is amazing news”. The newlywed Shibani Dandekar -Akhtar posted, “Congrats Sona so much love.”

However, if sources are to be believed, Sonakshi is running a promotional campaign for a jewellery brand. Meanwhile, the actress is rumoured to be engaged to Notebook actor Zaheer Iqbal. The latter has recently spoken about his dating rumours and told India Today, “Now it has been so long, I don’t even care. I am like okay if you think, then you think. Keep thinking. It’s good for you. If it makes you happy that I am with her, then it is good for you. Then if it makes you upset, I am sorry. Stop thinking about that."
