Son of Sardaar 2 shooting begins

On Instagram, Ajay shared a video of himself visiting a gurudwara. The monochrome video begins with Ajay covering his head with a handkerchief. Later, the priest reveals that the shooting for Son Of Sardaar has begun.

The video also features Ajay’s son, Yug Devgan, and his nephew, Aaman Devgan. They are seen kicking off the shooting of the film by holding a clapboard. Other BTS snippets from the film feature the film’s director, Vijay Kumar Arora, and the female lead of the film, Mrunal Thakur. The video also features a Punjabi dance sequence being shot that includes actor Chunky Pandey.

Ajay captioned the post, “The journey of #SonOfSardaar2 begins with prayers, blessings, and an amazing team.”

Son Of Sardaar 2 is a sequel film to Ajay’s 2012 blockbuster film Son Of Sardaar. Directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film also starred Sonakshi Sinha, Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Dutt.

Ravi Kishan replaces Sanjay Dutt in Son of Sardaar 2?

According to a report by Mid-Day, Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan in the sequel, as he had some issues getting a UK visa.

A source told the portal, “Ever since his arrest in 1993, while Sanju has travelled to the US, he has applied for a UK visa multiple times, but never got one. The Son of Sardaar 2 shoot would have been his first trip to the UK. However, after Ajay’s team found out that the senior actor’s visa request had been rejected, they replaced him with Ravi Kishan."

The source revealed that this visa issue could also impact Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5, which will be shot in London in September. The source said, "Sajid has chosen a wiser route. While the shooting with the cast begins in London, all of Sanju’s portions will be filmed in Mumbai. So, there are no issues on that front.”
