Actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah is quite thrilled about his upcoming Telugu movie, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. "I am very happy with the movie," said Suryah while discussing Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Starring Telugu star Nani in the lead role, the movie is written and directed by Vivek Athreya.

Suryah also hinted at the film's plot, suggesting that it is likely to revolve around a phenomenal event with supernatural elements. He claimed that Saripodhaa Sanivaaram would be as big a hit as Maanaadu. "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is releasing on August 29. It will work like Maanaadu in Telugu states," he remarked.

Maanaadu follows the journey of a hero, played by Simbu, who gains the ability to reset the day by killing himself. The film, inspired by Hollywood flicks like Edge of Tomorrow, shows different versions of the same events, as the hero gets the chance to relive the same day over and over again until he gets it right. Suryah's performance was one of the highlights of the movie, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film became a huge hit at the box office and gave a much-needed break to Simbu, who was going through a rough phase in his personal and professional life.

Based on Suryah's recent comments, it's safe to assume that Saripodhaa Sanivaaram may also likely have supernatural elements in its narrative. The filmmakers unveiled a special teaser on Saturday to introduce Suryah's character in the movie. He plays the main antagonist in the action drama, necessitating the rise of a hero to restore balance in society.

Nani's narration in the teaser suggested Saripodhaa Sanivaaram delves into the classic theme of good versus evil. However, director Vivek Athreya seems to have packed surprise elements to cast a familiar struggle in a new light.
