Singham Again trailer OUT: Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh GUARANTEE an explosive Diwali; Rohit Shetty's Ramayana touch impresses

The day has finally come. After years and months and weeks and days of waiting for the trailer of the Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again, today (October 7) is the day when the film’s trailer has got launched amidst a great fanfare.

The much-awaited trailer has many unique things attached to it. First and foremost, the length of the trailer is around four minutes. In other words, the trailer provides four wholesome minutes of wholesome entertainment. The gripping trailer starts off with Ajay Devgn in the Singham avatar.

This is followed by the entry of Kareena Kapoor who is busy discussing the concept of true love to her son in front of her husband Ajay Devgn. The young man questions his father that, in case anyone like Raavan kidnaps his mother, will he go to rescue her! That’s when Ajay Devgn confidently tells him to type Bajirao Singham on Google, as that will show and prove what mettle his father is made up of!

This is followed by a glimpse of Bajirao Singham and his strenuous details of his rigorous duty. He then, tells that, it’s been a history in India that, when Sita was kidnapped, the Lanka was burnt. And now, it’s time for the history to repeat itself al over again!

What follows that is the introduction of Arjun Kapoor’s menacing character, about whom Jackie Shroff tells (reads ‘warns’) Singham that not to mistake him as a roadside rowdy. This is then, followed by the grand gala entry of Inspector Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone), who stages her entry with a seeti-maar one liner! She then, lands up correcting a goon who taunts her saying that, anyone with a uniform think of themselves as Singham. She tells that goon, she is not a Singham, she is a lady Singham!

This then paves the way to the entry of Tiger Shroff’s character, about whom his mother tells Avni (Kareena Kapoor) that he respects and worships Singham to the hilt and has always been wanting to walk on his footsteps!

This is then followed by the grand gala entry of Simmba (Ranveer Singh) who bows down before Bajirao Singham and seeks his blessings. Avni, then, adds a dose of serious humor by ordering Daya to break open the door by telling, ‘Daya… darwaaza tod’, which is a take-off on his famous character and his door breaking act in the famous serial CID.

As an icing on the cake, there comes the entry of Suryavanshi (Akshay Kumar) in his trademark helicopter. This is then, followed by a glimpse of some of the breath-taking action scenes. All in all, the gripping trailer of Singham Again is defintley worth the wait! 

Within seconds of the trailer being dropped, the social media users filled the comments section with comments and compliments galore for the film and the actors. One user wrote, ‘This is what I would want to call a trailer. Even though the film’s makers did delay to launch the film’s trailer, the kind of stuff that the Singham Again trailer is made up of, is totally at par with the standards of Hollywood. One thing is certain that, even for those who have not seen any of the Singham films will surely fall in love with the Singham Again. The trailer is simply mind blowing. With such a gripping and engrossing trailer, the other films will surely say, ‘Aata maajha satakkli’.

Another user wrote, ‘OMG! Trailblazer… the only word that I feel I can associate with the trailer of Singham Again. How can anyone not fall in love with Ajay Devgn after seeing the trailer. He is simply fabulous in the trailer. So is Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and also Arjun Kapoor. I really hope and pray that Arjun’s fortunes should have a turnaround after this film. He is definitely the face of this era’s villainy’! I am eagerly waiting to see apna Sallu bhai in the role of Chulbul Pandey.

On his part, Ajay Devgn had taken to social media and couple of days back and had shared a teaser of sorts of Singham Again. He captioned the post as, ‘Tyohaar toh parivaar ke saath hi manaya jaata hai…milte hai iss Diwali #SinghamAgain’.

As for the film Singham Again, besides the presence of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Kapoor, the film also stars Tiger Shroff and his illustrious father Jackie Shroff. Besides everything else, there is a very special appearance by none other than Salman Khan aka Chulbul Pandey. While the film is being directed by Rohit Shetty, it has been produced by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande.
