The trailer of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again was released at a grand event in Mumbai today, October 7. It is one of the most awaited films of this year and fans were eagerly waiting to watch the trailer. In no time, the trailer has received a massive response from netizens on social media. The trailer showcases the parallels made between the characters in the film to the characters in the epic Ramayana. The basic plotline of the film revolves around Singham who goes on a journey with the help of his team to rescue his wife Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan) from the clutches of evil, played by Arjun Kapoor. Singham’s team includes Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh.

1. In the trailer when Singham’s son asks if he would ever go to distant places to rescue his wife (played by Kareena Kapoor Khan), Singham responds by saying, “Google pe Bajirao Singham type kar le. Pata chal jayega tera baap cheez kya hai. Jisse pyaar karta hai or jisse nafrat karta hai, uske liye kahi bhi ja sakta hai,” which is followed by clips of multiple action sequences.

2. The introduction of the antagonist of the film, played by Arjun Kapoor is daring and all things thrilling. The character’s first glimpse features him killing people with a knife. He brings chills down the spine! He is sure to be one of the deadliest villains in the Singham series. He is introduced by Jackie Shroff’s character as ‘Aag ka toofan.’

3. Next, Deepika Padukone is introduced as Shakti Shetty, who calls herself ‘Lady Singham.’ While trying to catch a criminal, she tells him, ‘Tere is duniya mein aane ki wajah ek aurat thi, zyada herogiri dikhayega na toh tere is duniya se jaane ki wajah bhi ek aurat hi hogi.’

4. Tiger Shroff also makes an exciting entry into the trailer while playing with fire. He is introduced as someone who truly admires Singham and has always wanted to work with him and wants to be like Laksham, who was always there for Ram.

5. Ranveer as Simmba is compared to the character of Lord Hanuman in the trailer. His bond with Singham is showcased beautifully. In a scene, Simmba sarcastically says to Sooryavanshi, “Kitni baar bola hai izzat se aao, ticket kaat ke aao lekin nahi latak ke hi aane ka hai." To this, Akshay replies, “Mann toh karta hai tere ko yahi thok du.”

6. In one scene, Kareena tells Daya (played by Dayanand Shetty), “Daya darwaza tod,” referring to the popular dialogue often said to the actor in his highly successful show CID where he also played the role of Daya. This scene is sure to make the audience feel major nostalgia.

7. In another scene when Arjun tells Kareena, "Ye Kalyug hai Avni kalyug, iss baar Raavan jeetega." She replies, “Sacchai ki jeet, yug ki mohtaaj nahi hoti.”
