Ever since the time the Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again had been announced, the film has been making news and for all the right reasons. Even though the Ajay Devgn starrer had got delayed from its original date of release, that has just not diluted the level of excitement amongst the cinegoers to see the film, which also stars the inimitable duo of Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh as two of the leading men in the cop-verse film.
Amongst the presence of these three superstars, there was a strong buzz that the film will also see Salman Khan in the role of Chulbul Pandey. It was this news about the presence of Salman Khan in the Rohit Shetty film that simply upped the film by many degrees.
There were many fans who were eagerly looking for the never-imagined crossover of Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again. But it seems that the said crossover may not happen at all. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan was all geared up to shoot his cameo in the film Singham Again on Monday (October 14, 2024). But, because of the shocking and untimely demise of Baba Siddiqui, the shooting was cancelled.
The said shoot, which was being planned at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai had got cancelled because of the death of Baba Siddiqui died as Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn were finding it inappropriate to ask Salman Khan to shoot amidst such controversy.
As for the film Singham Again, besides the presence of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, the film also stars the likes of Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Amidst all this, the film will also see the presence of the veteran actor Jackie Shroff and also Arjun Kapoor, who will be seen in a negative role, which he is playing for the first time in his career.
